Vincent, originally from Wavre, Belgium, ended up in Finland via Australia over 15 years ago.
– After graduating with a master's degree in biology, I wasn't ready to start working yet. I backpacked in Australia for a couple of years and followed a girl to Kokkola.
In Finland, Vincent studied nursing at Centria University of Applied Sciences in Central Ostrobothnia and worked in the hospital emergency room for about six years.
– Stella Pon-Onnela, who used to be my teacher at Centria and then started working at Raisoft, contacted me and said that Raisoft would need someone who could speak French and understand the healthcare sector. So, I ended up here through an interview. Initially, I was a project assistant for French-speaking clients, then a Project Manager, an assistant to the Chief International Customer Officer, and from the beginning of 2024, the Chief International Customer Officer.
Vincent Gleviczky has enjoyed his time at Vitec Raisoft.
– The best thing about Raisoft is that we are like one big family. It's easy to talk to everyone, and we take care of each other. Of course, it's also great for me that I get to speak a lot of French with both clients and at the office, as there are now several employees at Vitec Raisoft whose native language is French.
– An international work environment is a great thing, of course it is sometimes also challenging.
Vincent's family includes his wife, two daughters, a son, and two dogs. In the summer, he spends his time golfing, and in the winter, his top sport is padel. Additionally, he is once again studying for a new degree at Centria.
– My MBA should be completed in about a year.
On business trips to Switzerland, a common tradition has become enjoying a moment of delicacies together, regardless of the weather.
– Whether it's hot or freezing, I always enjoy fondue with clients in Switzerland, Vincent rejoices.
